Description:

The Mental Health Therapist will utilize a broad range of therapeutic skills including individual, group and family therapy and will work closely within the framework of the a multidisciplinary clinical team providing mental health assessment and treatment to school aged children, adolescents and their families.  The therapist works closely with other CASA staff and physicians to deliver high quality psychosocial interventions in individual and group settings.The therapist functions as a team member and collaborates with outside agencies and programs to deliver care in a family centered manner.

Requirements:

Psychologists, Masters prepared Social Workers, Nurses and Occupational Therapists who are registered and in good standing with their professional college are invited to apply.  Resumes from Registered Provisional Psychologists who have completed their supervised clinical hours are also welcomed.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory setting/program that provided psychosocial intervention
• A commitment to best practice and knowledge of evidence informed mental health services
• An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
 Assets:   
• Experience assessing and treating issues related to childhood trauma and maltreatment
• Experience working with diverse cultures. 

Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.
